FRESH START 2014

Honorary Chairs Keanu Reeves, Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow hosted FRESH START #9 on Saturday, February 1st at the Santa Monica Art Studios. For the first time, FRESH START joined with Airbnb whose generous underwriting led to one of our most successful events to date. Guest art curators Claressinka Anderson, Sonny Ruscha Bjornson, Clyde Beswick, Eve Fowler, Catlin Moore, and Lexi Brown brought fresh new artists to the event including Bari Ziperstein, Matt Merkel Hess, Alex Becerra, Laddie John Dill, Dennis Koch and Anna Sew Hoy. Mezcal El Silencio, Stella Artois, and Layer Cake Wines provided a hosted bar for our 900 guests who also feasted on artful custom cookies from Modern Bites. A special thanks to Anne Litt for returning to DJ her 5th fresh stART event. 2014 was the second of our two-year partnership with LA's BEST, and we proudly donated over $120,000 to their After School Arts Program.
